We came to town simply hoping to enjoy a quiet weekend together, marking a year since we unexpectedly lost our dad. Longleat had always been on his list of places to revisit with Mum when they retired, so it felt like the right place to go. What we didn’t expect was how much warmth and joy we’d find — not just in the lovely village, which had a really peaceful charm to it, but especially in this little restaurant. Every single member of staff was incredibly welcoming, genuinely funny, and created such a comforting atmosphere that completely lifted our family’s spirits. The food was phenomenal — a selection of beautifully cooked, flavour-packed curries made from scratch that kept us full and smiling all evening. We’re a family of three (with one more hopefully joining soon — if all goes to plan!), and this place gave us a moment of peace and happiness we didn’t know we needed. Thank you for helping turn a difficult anniversary into a memory we’ll now treasure for much brighter reasons.
