Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Claudie and walked out already plotting our return. The food was excellent from start to finish, and the service hit that rare sweet spot — attentive without hovering. Pairing it all with one of our favourite wines didn't hurt either. The team also surprised us with a gorgeous dessert to mark the occasion, which turned a lovely dinner into a genuinely memorable one. We'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend. We visited Claudie after hearing so much buzz about it being one of Miami’s newest trending restaurants, and overall it was a good experience, though not one that fully lived up to the hype. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The transition between the outdoor and indoor spaces feels seamless, the design is elegant, and there’s a lively atmosphere throughout the evening. However, the restaurant was extremely crowded, to the point where it felt overbooked. We had to wait about 15 minutes past our reservation time and were directed to the bar while waiting, but the bar area was completely packed with nowhere to sit. Even ordering a drink felt difficult because of how busy it was. Once seated, another challenge became apparent: the tables are placed very close together. Unfortunately, this resulted in multiple interruptions from neighboring diners and made it difficult to enjoy the level of privacy and intimacy we were hoping for. For a restaurant operating at this price point, we expected a more comfortable dining environment. That said, the highlight of the evening was unquestionably our server, Dorelys. She was attentive, caring, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a good experience. At one point I wasn’t feeling well and needed something to eat quickly, and she immediately brought bread to the table without hesitation. Her kindness and attentiveness stood out throughout the night and made a meaningful difference in our experience. As for the food, we enjoyed several dishes. The crab croquettes were excellent, and the branzino carpaccio was one of the highlights of the meal—fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced. The escargots were delicious, especially paired with the bread service. The winter black truffle risotto was enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. The côte de boeuf, accompanied by the truffle potato purée and grilled broccolini, was flavorful and satisfying. We finished with the crème brûlée, which delivered exactly what you hope for from a classic French dessert. While the food was good across the board, there wasn’t a single dish that left us feeling compelled to return specifically for it. Combined with the crowded atmosphere and premium pricing, the overall value proposition felt difficult to justify. Our bill exceeded $500, and while we understand Miami pricing, the experience didn’t quite match that level of investment. Overall, Claudie offers solid French cuisine, beautiful design, and excellent service from team members like Dorelys. The restaurant has potential, but the overcrowding and lack of dining privacy detracted from what could have been a much stronger experience. A good night out, but not one that would necessarily bring us back. Price per person: $100+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
