My family and I used to visit the Clubhouse on a weekly basis. We always had a great experience — the kids loved it, we loved it, and the staff were consistently welcoming and attentive. Every visit felt like a treat. That’s why it was so disappointing when we returned this evening. The bar staff were, as always, excellent, and the food itself was lovely. Unfortunately, the restaurant service let the whole experience down. After being seated, we waited nearly 40 minutes without anyone coming to take our order, and eventually had to ask ourselves. It genuinely felt like we’d been completely overlooked. It was clear the younger restaurant staff prioitised being chatted up by the teen customers than attending to others, which is frustrating — especially when you’ve taken the time to book a table in advance. When you’re asked to select a time slot while booking, you expect a level of service that allows you to actually enjoy the experience within that window. On this occasion, it felt rushed before we’d even started. Had we opted for 60 minutes, we'd have been out of time before the food turned up! We also noticed other families around us who appeared equally unhappy, so it didn’t seem like an isolated issue. It’s a real shame, because this is a fantastic venue with so much going for it. Hopefully this is something management can address, as it would be great to see the service return to the standard it used to be. Price per person: £80–90 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Great visit with work mates last Friday. We did Shufl for 1hr, buffet for 1hr & finally interactive darts for last hr. Team loved it. Buffet was amazing no one left hungry. Highly recommend folks! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a lovely few hours here celebrating my son's birthday. Really liked the fact we could book the pool table for two hours. Made the evening relaxed and all six of us had plenty of goes. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Will definitely be going back. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
