Had a lovely experience. The service was brilliant and made us feel comfortable straight away. Really helped us decide what to drink and the personal touch to each was great! Our bartender clearly loves what he does and that shows in how much effort he put in with the drinks and service. Thank you!! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A True Hidden Gem in Machico – Masterclass Cocktails & Authentic Vibes! If you are in Machico, you cannot miss this place. The Machico Cocktail Café is a total hidden gem. The heart of this place is the owner, Mário (better known as Stanic). Watching him work is an experience in itself—he crafts every drink with such genuine passion and joy that you can taste it in the glass. I had two Negronis and they were, hands down, some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced and smooth. My wife decided to let Mário aka Stanic surprise her with his creations. She loved both, but the second one was the showstopper—made with fresh passion fruit picked directly from his own garden. You can’t get more authentic or fresh than that! A huge shout-out to Bárbara as well. She kept our table full of delicious homemade snacks. I have to give a special mention to the "Peixinhos da Horta" (traditional Portuguese veggie tempura)—they were absolutely yummy and the perfect pairing for the drinks. Great atmosphere, top-tier hospitality, and world-class cocktails. Definitely deserves a visit! P.S: Muito agradecido pela maneira como tu e a Bárbara fizeram-nos sentir em casa.
