Atmosphere mostly good nice outdoors area. Food was slow and the prep not amazing. Wings weren’t segmented, noodles unmixed, couple wrong orders and corrected ones came out slow. Drinks slow and recipes sounded cool but flavors honestly didn’t meet the hype of the menu. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50

Cocolee is a fantastic spot for Asian cuisine in the Boston area! They have some great vegetarian options, which can be hard to find done this well. I tried the Tofu Bao Bun, Veggie Dumplings, and Thai Green Curry, and all of them were delicious and full of flavor. Each dish felt well-prepared and satisfying. A nice touch was the service—the server specifically checked if anyone at our table had any allergies before bringing out the food, which was really thoughtful and appreciated. Overall, a great dining experience with tasty food and attentive service. Highly recommend if you're in Assembly Row! I have been coming here because it’s close and I genuinely wanted to support a quieter local bar. Recently, I was told that the owner, Matt, has decided not to serve me and doesn’t want me back because of “soliciting,” based on the belief that I was promoting events. The issue isn’t their policy—it’s how this was handled. I had only spoken briefly with the manager, Michael, about the idea of events, and at no point was any concern communicated or request made to stop. No warning, no clarification—just a jump straight to escalating it to the owner and refusing service. For context, I wasn’t handing out flyers, posters, or promoting inside the bar. It was simply a short conversation. If there was a concern, it could have been addressed directly in the moment. Instead, it was escalated unnecessarily. The bartenders themselves have always been polite and professional, but this situation reflects poor communication and unprofessional management. Situations like this shouldn’t be handled this way.
