Beautiful Tropical oasis! (Read below if coming from the Beach) we did not stay here but definitely would. We looked at the rooms and they look beautiful. We have been here a few times over the years and it never disappoints. Sylvia the owner/host is so super nice and well spoken English. The drinks are awesome and the food is amazing. We love their wood/coal fired pizza! Can’t go wrong with any one of them. Coconut shrimp was amazing and I could go on and on. Again this place is so cozy and romantic with the best tropical setting. **Note: It’s not easy to find walking from the beach anymore as another complex has blocked their direct walking access which is really a bummer for them. Look for Mvngata Beach hotel we walked straight through this place from the beach to the street with no problems. Go left down the street and left again at the next street, it’s a very short walk and so worth it. Also could try walking through Petite Lafite next door to Mvngata. I recently had a terrible experience with Cocos Cabañas Playa del Carmen Adults only. Due to flight cancellations caused by weather, I was unable to make it to the hotel. When I reached out to the hotel for assistance, their response was extremely unhelpful and unaccommodating. They stated that due to the busy season, they were unable to replace my accommodation within hours, and offered to keep my contact information for potential future opportunities, but made no promises. To make matters worse, I never heard back from the hotel after their initial response, leaving me feeling completely ignored and unsatisfied with my experience. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and the overall unprofessionalism of the hotel staff. I would not recommend Cocos Cabañas Playa del Carmen Adults only to anyone, and I would advise others to look for alternative accommodations. The hotel's lack of empathy and lack of follow-through was unacceptable and left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
