Visiting from out of town, we ate at several places that are all overpriced for no reason. We got the same wonderful beautiful food here with wonderful service and about half the price. I feel like I was eating at my house with the care and homemade food. Highly recommended! When you arrive, tell Peter that I said hello! I popped into Coffee Break for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than I planned. I ordered a tuna melt sandwich and a latte, and the first thing that really stood out was the coffee. The latte was genuinely impressive—smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made with good-quality beans. It had that rare café coffee feel where you take a sip expecting something standard, but it ends up being noticeably better than you thought it would be. The tuna melt was just as satisfying in its own way. It came out generous and properly filled, not shy on the tuna at all. Warm, hearty, and comforting—exactly the kind of simple food you want when you’re hungry and not in the mood for anything complicated. What made the visit feel even nicer was the atmosphere. Peter and his staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating, which made the whole experience feel welcoming rather than transactional. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after without it being forced or over the top. And the location adds a lot too. Being on a corner, the café has a great view of the street—you can just sit back and watch buses roll by and people passing, which gives it a relaxed, almost calming feel. It’s the kind of spot where you don’t feel rushed to leave, even after you’ve finished eating. Overall, it ended up being a really easy, pleasant stop: great coffee, a solid and filling sandwich, and a warm, friendly vibe that made me want to linger a bit longer than planned.
