Whenever I’m in Rome, this is one of my first stops. I’ve been here several times over the years, and I’ve honestly never had a bad meal. The location is incredible, just steps from the Pantheon, but what keeps me coming back is the food. Everything I’ve had has been amazing. The menu is authentic Italian with recipes that have been passed down through the family, and the owners also own Casale del Giglio, one of the region’s best-known wineries, so the wine is just as good as the food. The whole place has such a great vibe too. It’s comfortable, they always have great music playing, it’s spotless, and everyone is genuinely welcoming. You can tell it’s family-run, and that makes such a difference. One of the coolest things they offer is cooking with Nonna. If you’re looking for a unique experience in Rome, I highly recommend it. Learn to make authentic Italian dishes, then sit down and enjoy an incredible meal afterward. If you’re in Rome, coming here to eat (and drink) is a must! Had the most wonderful dinner at Collegio Bistrot for so many reasons! It was my first time in Rome and had the company of a great local friend who chose to take me to this lovely place. The service was outstanding, so kind, attentive, welcoming. They did so much to help recommend the best dishes and wine. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the seating outside is a stone throw from the Pantheon. A great experience ro have fresh handmade pastas as well as the wine and olive oil that they also make themselves. So grateful for a wonderful experience and highly recommend to visit Collegio Bistrot if you find yourself in Rome and looking for a place that isnt a tourist trap.
