From the phone call to make our reservation until we completed our meal, every moment was a most pleasant experience. Our dinner choices of prime rib and pork shanks were delicious including the side veggies, salad and the amazing mushroom soup. We felt that we were meant to be there. We had a reservation for five at the Old Colonial Inn this past Friday, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere has that classic, comfortable charm you hope for in a place like this, and the service was warm, attentive, and right on point. The food was the real highlight of the night. Our group ordered a mix of steaks and prime rib, and every single plate was spot-on. The steaks were perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and exactly to temperature—while the prime rib was juicy and rich without being heavy. You can tell they take pride in how they prepare their meals. It’s not often a whole table is unanimously impressed, but Old Colonial Inn pulled it off.
