I'm not native to the area. I'm from Chicago and its flat as a pancake. The hills all around the Comet are really cool. A Buddy of Mine who rides scooters introduced me to this place during a 10 year lates scooter club ride in like 2010ish. And the burrito was as big as your head and delicious. Well now I am pretty bad diabetic so I cant drink or eat a lot of anything there (That I know of) but Tuesday bike nights are awesome. The bands in my opinion are weird as hell. But hey I live 35 miles north so maybe thats normal there. But none the less the place is fun. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Came here during the Higher Gravity Beer run and will definitely be coming back. Got some fantastic, much needed brunch and a decent beer selection for a dive-bar esc place. Great for a family brunch or a late night date. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Brunch

I normally have a great experience here, I come here frequently for shows. I always tip well. Except for last night. That’s because the woman bartending had an attitude as soon as we walked in. I asked her what kind of mocktail and she rudely showed me to the soda fridge that I already knew was there. That’s not a mocktail but ok, so I got a cream soda trying to be nice and I said thank you. I walked away for not even 5 seconds over to look at the pool table while she was making another drink cause she told me I was not aloud to touch the fridge and she hadn’t gotten the drink out yet. Then she loudly and rudely yelled “do you want your drink or??” So I walked back up and apologized she just looked at me and said “three dollars” then I asked if she could pit it on my friend tab since he was paying then she rolled her eyes at me and said she didn’t know. I went to ask my friend about it and came back and she once again rudley said three dollars. I asked her to please put it on my friends tab and she rolled her eyes again then finally put it on the tab. Then later in the night my friend went up to the bar and she asked for a vodka Red Bull, she said they don’t have red bull which is okay, then my friend asked what they had and the bartender said “I’m not going to list them” and then my friend came back to the table. Very rude and disrespectful. Funnily enough everytime a man was at the bar the bartender was screeching and laughing jumping up and down clapping and yelling. I’m unsure what happened because I’ve been coming here for years and have never had an experience like this.
