Outstanding hotel deserving of all accolades. Excellent breakfast and service. Rooms are comfortable with modern amenities such as built in Bluetooth speakers. Gym, sauna and other amenities are great quality and appropriate for the size of hotel. Food & drinks: Outstanding continental breakfast. One of the best I’ve had. Quality very good. All traditional Spanish offering Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Quiet, Great value

We had seen so many gorgeous photos of this hotel on Instagram prior to our trip, and had been very much looking forward to our stay, but although the Concepcio by Nobis always looks impeccable on Instagram, our conclusion is that the hotel is very much style over substance... We were frequently let down by the service in the hotel - which is not at all to a 5* standard. On our second morning at the hotel, we arrived for breakfast at 10:56 (breakfast served until 11am) and we were rudely "greeted" by the server that "breakfast ends in 4 minutes!!" without even a good morning before she just left us standing there...! We had been for breakfast the morning before as well, and saw that the breakfast buffet wasn't cleared until well past 11am... At the very least, what we expect (and from our experience in our 5* hotels on this trip and elsewhere), is that as long as we were sat before breakfast ends, we should still be able to order breakfast. Second point of disappointment was service by the pool, or lack thereof! It is very clearly stated that the pool as well as the pool bar is open every day until 7pm. On both days, we decided to relax by the pool around 6pm, after a long day of exploring Palma, and on both days already at 6pm, the pool bar was shut, and there were no longer any towels provided by the pool... Both days I had to go inside to reception to ask for towels (and on one occasion I was rudely told to go back to the pool and check, they should be there) as well as to order drinks. If the pool and pool bar are open until 7pm, I should expect for drinks to still be served and towels to be available, without having to go inside to ask. Note that the pool is nonetheless much smaller than it looks in pictures (although I do understand space is at a premium in Palma!). We stayed in a corner Superior room which was a good size for a 3-night stay. However, we were also surprised that for a hotel that is only 2 years old (opened in June 2021), there was a huge stain on the ceiling of our bathroom... surely this should've been painted over before it opened for this season. Overall, I think you can definitely do better for this price point in Palma so I wouldn't recommend this hotel - definitely style (for Instagram) over any actual substance. We have never let on that our pool is bigger than what it is. It is very clear on all photos that you can see the size of the area. About the stain on the ceiling of your bathroom, unfortunately we had to fix a water pipe just before you checked in and we did not have time to properly paint the ceiling before 15h00 check in. Sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused. I must stress the point that we always live up to 5 star experience standards and you can see from all of our other reviews on this platform that it is the truth.
