This hidden gem in Plaza Arcade is exactly the kind of place that makes lunchtime something to look forward to. Specialising in Italian deli-style sandwiches and baguette rolls, they do things the right way — fresh ingredients, rolls made to order, and a menu that genuinely has something for everyone. What keeps me coming back, beyond the food, is the warmth of Nico and his team. They're consistently cheerful, welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble. As someone with no-pork dietary requirements, I really appreciate how careful and considerate they are — they always take it seriously without making it a fuss, and they're more than happy to accommodate customisation requests. That kind of attentiveness is rare and doesn't go unnoticed. The menu variety is impressive, with excellent options for vegetarians too. And if you want to wash it down with something different, they stock traditional Italian fizzy drinks and soft drinks that perfectly complement the food. Prices are very fair for the quality and freshness you're getting — honestly better value than many CBD lunch spots. If you're in the Perth city area and want a proper, freshly made Italian roll with great service, Conti Deli is a must.

As someone who flew in from interstate, I just had my first conti ever from here and it was brilliant. I had the Classico and quality of ingredients were superb and put together beautifully. The guy who served us was incredibly friendly and super helpful. Will be going back tomorrow morning before heading to the airport! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great sandwich with real Italian flavors! Fresh, high-quality ingredients and amazing burrata made by the owner. Also, super friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommended!
