Recently, I ventured there with my girlfriend and her siblings along with their significant others, eager to indulge in an evening of good food and company. Upon arrival, the ambiance exuded warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for what I hoped would be an unforgettable meal. To kick off the evening, I opted for an espresso martini, and I must say, it did not disappoint. Rich and flavorful, it served as the perfect prelude to the culinary delights that awaited. For starters, we decided on the calamari, and it proved to be a wise choice. Crispy yet tender, each bite burst with flavor, leaving us eager for more. However, my enthusiasm waned when my girlfriend's Moscow mule arrived. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations, appearing rather watered down—a minor disappointment in an otherwise promising meal. Moving on to the main course, I selected the sirloin shepherd's pie, and it surpassed all expectations. The savory blend of tender sirloin and hearty vegetables nestled beneath a blanket of creamy mashed potatoes was a true delight for the palate. While my experience was not without its challenges, I would not hesitate to return, hopeful for a more seamless dining experience.
