This place is pretty to look at if you like simple elegance and don't look too closely, and that's about the nicest thing I can say about it. No where that sells French fries with the cheapest cut of chopped steak on them for $55 should have serving staff with unbrushed hair and wearing leggings, which are just sweatpants that show off your butt. Put in a little effort, I mean, come on. It was almost a full 5 min at our table before our unkempt server greeted us and she took her time gossiping with the other staff before even bringing water to the table, despite my son stating how thirsty he was. The food itself was simply not good. The fries were shoe string- the worst kind of fry- that tasted like fryer oil. Pub, let alone gastropub, fried should be thick cut, skin on steak fries that actually hold seasoning. My daughter's Gouda Mac n cheese was pasty and bland and my turkey avocado sandwich- what I thought would be a light choice- was huge, hard to chew, cuts of super thick turkey breast on greasy bread with about a teaspoon of mashed avocado - should have been slices of whole avocado for the price- and a single, lonely sundried tomato, though the description mentioned them as part of the sandwich. 100% will not go back and I advise saving your money to spend elsewhere.
