I recently ordered a takeaway from Cooper Mahal and was thoroughly impressed. It’s not often you find a place that hits the balance of authentic spice and fresh ingredients so perfectly. The food arrived hot and the aromas were incredible as soon as I opened the packaging. I ordered Chicken Tikka , Lamb Rogan josh and some sides , and you could really taste that it was cooked with care rather than just a generic base sauce. The meat was tender and juicy, and the spices were well-balanced—flavorful without being overpowering. The Peshawar Naan was another highlight—freshly baked and soft, exactly how it should be. It’s clear the kitchen here values quality; the portions were generous and everything tasted fresh, not greasy like some other places. If you’re looking for a proper, high-quality Indian meal in Andover, I highly recommend giving them a try. Excellent service, great value, and the best "yummy" food I’ve had in a while. Had a lovely meal for our anniversary with my husband & daughter & I honestly couldn’t fault a thing.The food was amazing, I had the garlic chilli chicken masala & it was a taste sensation, the staff were friendly & helpful & the atmosphere is relaxing & comfortable. Even finished off with a complimentary baileys. Would definitely recommend & will be coming again. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

My mum and I tried this restaurant this evening and we are so glad we did. We were greeted with a friendly smile as soon as we opened the door and welcomed even more warmly by the owner, Rikesh. The decoration in the restaurant is stunning and after five minutes of waiting for our food, with a complimentary drink in-hand, we wished we had stayed to eat-in instead. Next time! We had a good chat with the staff and even shared pictures of our children, which was such a beautiful but fleeting exchange. The food was delicious - onion bhaji just the right amount of crunch v onion, flavoursome, fragrant rices, super-tasty main courses full of flavour and a delicious garlic naan bread to dip in! We are so pleased we decided on Copper Mahal Restaurant and next time we will eat-in so that we can enjoy more time with the lovely staff and soak up the wonderful atmosphere.
