Corta Mar A Hidden Gem by the Sea We stumbled upon Corta Mar in this gorgeous little beach town and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we sat down, the sea breeze, laid-back vibes, and warm welcome set the tone — and then came Andre. What a legend! Hands down one of the best servers we’ve ever had — thoughtful, hilarious, full of charm, and genuinely passionate about sharing a real taste of Portugal with us. He made incredible recommendations (we said yes to everything and have zero regrets), introduced us to the chef himself, and even gave us little stories behind what we were eating and drinking. The fish was out-of-this-world fresh, the wine he paired with our meal was perfect, and the dessert? Don’t even get us started — we’re still dreaming about it. Think rustic, chill, authentic Portuguese coastal charm with 5-star heart and flavor. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Obrigado, Corta Mar and Andre, you’re the GOAT!

What an amazing night. We travelled from England for my sisters 70 th. I was allowed to surprise her by serving the wine. The host and staff were lovely. Helpful kind and considerate. The food was exceptional. Freshly caught that day we had bream , muscles cod and local cheese. It was perfectly cooked and amazing value for money. Strongly recommend
