Im fairly new to the area and went in search of a good Dominican bakery. I came across this one that had good ratings. The service was great and the cashier was very pleasant. I purchased a slice of cake and was not pleased. The cake was very dense and appeared to be soaked in sweet syrup as the syrup was dripping across the packaging (I’ve never had a cake like that). The filling was very minimal and the merengue was not thick. I honestly was disappointed as I was very much looking forward to the cake. I was only able to taste the dense cake and syrup, it completely took away from the totality of the cake. I did not taste the merengue or filling. I will continue my search for my go-to Dominican bakery. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $1–10

I ordered a cake to celebrate my wedding anniversary and they went over my expectations!! It was beautiful and exactly the design I wanted, but no only that, the flavor and moisture of this cake was perfect. Dominican cake with dulce de leche and peaches. All my guesses love it!!! Thank you Cositas Ricas Bakery. Food: 5 Service: 5 Meal type: Other
