I spoke to all of the staff and no one remembered receiving a complaint about the food the day you were here, so we're thinking that we unfortunately misheard you, as everyone is trained to do all things necessary to ensure your satisfaction. Hi Jes, we regret we were unable to make you happy! I do remember this service and the dining room had filled up rather quickly, so I spent a few moments chatting with the table next to you, as they had been waiting the longest for their food at that point (scratch-made food sometimes takes a few minutes longer during a rush). I learned that they were in town to spread their mother's ashes next to where they had previously spread their father's ashes, in a place that held significant meaning to their family over the last several decades. As an owner, it turned into a very special opportunity to connect with some of our customers, but I'm sorry if it seemed that I was too chatty. As for the issues with your food, we've used this review as a chance to give our staff additional training, especially the detail of realizing that if someone asks for no tomato or onion on their burger, it should be clarified that they also want the same for their salad.
