Amazing food, good selection of drinks and a brilliant beer garden, the best pub I have been to in a long time. The food was brilliant, lovely crisp chips and onion rings, yet not fatty. Beautiful burger. Travelled over 45mins each way to come here today and would easily come back just for the food alone. The beer garden has lots to do for kids, including a hidden castle and a witches den. Reasonable prices too. 10/10. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I would like to start with how wonderful and kind the staff are. Alan, the owner is such a nice guy and the atmosphere of the crown was friendly and I felt happy to stay there. The food is absolutely incredible, the chef(s) are absolutely fantastic. The service in the crown is great. I would recommend. The events there are so fun! The crown is the best Pub in Oxted! The old bell in old oxted is absolutely appalling. I would not go to the old bell; the staff aren’t the best. But the crowns staff definitely are the best. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As a Local The Crown Inn is without a doubt the best pub in Oxted. It has the best beer garden in town, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and make you feel right at home every time you visit. Alan, who owns the pub, is a genuinely kind and friendly guy who always takes the time to chat with customers and make everyone feel welcome. It’s clear he really cares about the pub and the people who come through the doors. The food is absolutely fantastic. The two chefs do an amazing job and the roast dinners are the best around. Every single time I’ve had one, it’s been spot on. The quality is always consistent and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. The entertainment nights are always great fun and create a brilliant atmosphere. Whether you’re popping in for a drink, a meal, or an evening out with friends, The Crown Inn never disappoints. If you’re looking for a proper local pub with great food, fantastic staff, a brilliant garden, and a welcoming atmosphere, The Crown Inn is the place to go. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20
