ordered some chicken shish and doner and were both very salty, usually i would eat it at home or in the car but wanted to try eat in this time and found table looked like it had been wiped but still had grease on it quite disappointed telling the staff and not even getting a reaction or saying anything when i went to pay i put my hand on the outside of the fridge to see what the temperatures like inside and it was barely any cooler than outside air hence the chicken was over marinated/ too salty Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

RECOMMENDED , Just Go & TrY Had a great experience at Crystal Turkish Restaurant during my stay in Colchester. I ordered Meal #8 (rice with chicken doner), and it completely exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food incredibly delicious, but they also surprised me with extras like yogurt chutney, chilli chutney, and pitta—even though I only ordered the main dish. The service was fast, and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in Colchester! Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
