So, how should I start? The place was overpriced. $19 for a soup, plus taxes plus tip. The "famous and special" fried chicken wings were blend, the only flavor they had was the sauce that you chose (the buffalo was mediocre at best, and the coconut curry was disgusting) but when you taste the chicken-meat, was completely blend, no seasoning at all, not even salt, nothing, just blend sick chicken. The "famous" fried dough, what covers the chicken, was blend too and you can taste the flavor of the peanut oil like to start a car. The other items that we ordered were the same: just tasteless and well-overpriced. Even the water that is the container for the costumers had a weird taste. Bad experience. I had to ask for silverware and napkins. The best that I tasted, being completely honest, was the white rice, and I can make it better at home. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Stopped in for a quick boba on our way back to the train. Was a cute little dining area and good selection of food and drinks. I wish we had more time to stop to eat but maybe for next time! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We stopped by Cuckoo for a casual lunch and had a mixed—though overall pleasant—experience. The garlic soy chicken sandwich was definitely the star of the meal: crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying. The presentation was adorable, with the fries served in a cute little basket that added a nice touch. The rice bowl, on the other hand, was just okay—it lacked the flavor punch we got from the sandwich. The place itself is very small and cozy, which gives it a relaxed vibe, but there was only one person working the counter and kitchen, so service was slow. That said, they were kind and doing their best. My husband and I enjoyed our time there. While it wasn’t mind-blowing, we’d consider coming back—especially for that garlic soy sandwich!
