Went with a group of friends one night, we just finished performing at an event and really hungry, someone suggested we buy from D’Food on our way to our apartment cos they close by 3am. We were happy the shop was open at around 12-1am. Getting into the shop, we started making our orders and noticed that just one attendant with the owner(making the two of them) were going to attend to about 15 of us. Of course, we hoped for speed also to get these foods into our stomach before it got later than it already was. I noticed the owner badly relating with his employee that looked pretty tired already, while we were trying to cheer him up. Some of us noticed this and tried defending the tired guy in the same tone, he just kept saying stuffs like, we should mind our business and watch how we speak to him, he has children our age and all sorts. I watched the whole situation play and decided not to involve myself cos I was really hungry and didn’t want anything getting me cranky. Honestly, the man was just too controlling and rude would be an understatement, not to mention his arrogance. I’d advise he gets more employees to keep his space for long and watch his attitude to costumers. To me, the food I ate from his place was super tasty but mehn the atmosphere while purchasing my food was really intense. It is well ooo. Heard he’s been like that but coming here to also see about 85% of the reviews pointing to the negative side, is really poor. i visited two days ago and was attended to by a very rude customer rep. I made double payments and lodged a complaint. She kept saying I was disturbing her and it wasn’t in their account so I should leave and call the number on their pamphlet. I asked for her name so when I call the next day as I can reference her as my point of contact but she was crazily rude. I ended up requesting for a confirmation from my bank and was told the transaction was successful. I called them back to let them know and was told to come to their store again. I can’t imagine going from the mainland to the island again when this whole issue could have been solved if the customer rep had good manners and was patient enough to do her job. She kept saying she is the MD’s sister/sister in law and also the manger but that’s really not my business. Been recommending here to my pals but never again.
