We've been trying to go to this place for a couple of weeks now. Definitely worth the wait because the food was absolutely amazing and delicious in every possible way. This is the Dominican style cooking which is very similar to my own homeland of Haitian cooking but with different spices and different ways to enhance the flavors of the food. First of all the Care that's taken into cooking each individual meet portion, fall off the bone speed so tender I could cut it with my spoon. A place I will have to go back and try again and again and also looking for the evening nightlife to see what the club atmosphere is like. But just speaking of the food this place deserve the five stars that I'm about to give it. Me and my date were the only ones there, so we got extra love privacy and Care from a beautiful and wonderful waitress. We acted on the buffet style food today but next time we'll go back we'll definitely be ordering from the menu to give it another rating. Overall although this place is low-key and on the corner of Portland and Norton it belongs up there with all the other five star restaurants high-end and worth every penny. To the owners of this place my hat's off to you. You've created a place a a specific atmosphere that isn't found anywhere else in rochester. Portions so big, had to take food home Price per person: $20–30 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: They're not really vegetarian per se but you can get stuff like rice plantains and other veggies to eat as a vegetarian option

This place is AMAZING! I Love going here and getting the fried pork with yellow rice and beans. & there homemade Hot Sauce is one of the best ive ever tried. Stg. No cap. Go here. Its worth it 110% Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered a "side green salad" along with other things from D'mangu Restaurant today. The container was not even half full. It is wilted iceberg lettuce with one small tomato wedge, 2 small cucumber slices that are obviously old and transparent. Paid $4.00 for this garbage. My Wife ordered Platanos that obvioulsy were old. Spent $35 and ended up throwing everything away for fear of food poisoning and ended up having to cook at home. They used to have great food but lately the quality has really gone downhill. I will definitely NOT be wasting my money here again.
