My visit, which took place on Dec 26th, left much to be desired. From the moment we sat at the table, the ambiance felt lackluster, and the overall service of the establishment was subpar. There was a noticeable absence of attention to detail!
The service was indeed unsatisfactory. The staff appeared disinterested and inattentive. It took an unusually long time to get the orders done, and when I complained, I was told the waitstaff was under training. The other waiters seemed indifferent to our presence. The lack of courtesy and professionalism was quite noticeable!
Moving on to the food, I regret to say that the quality did not live up to the reputation I had heard about DOC and the price I paid. The dishes were mediocre at best, and the flavors lacked the freshness and creativity I expected. The presentation was OK, but the portions were usually small for this kind of restaurant.
Furthermore, the prices on the menu did not align with the quality of the food or service provided. I left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied and regretful of the money spent on an experience that fell far short of my expectations.
I believe in providing constructive feedback, and I tried to share some of my observations with the manager to contribute to improvements in his establishment. I did not feel he took my comments seriously, and there was no real apology from him. I would appreciate it if he could have heard me and addressed my concerns to enhance the overall dining experience at DOC. For the money I paid, it was a very frustrating experience!
