Doro garden is really a garden indeed. The whole environment is filled with trees, that is to say that the air is always cool. Just Imagine the kind of comfort it will give you in the dry season/heat period. It is a nice place to have a casual date with just drinks. If you still want to be alone and spend a time alone in a quiet and cool environment, then this place can be a good spot for you. When was the last time you listened to the melodious tunes of birds singing in the Bush... lols. The melodious songs and chirping sounds of the birds will keep you relaxed and In a meditative mood in this place. The area is still developing that you can still see bushes and farm lands around the place and that is part of what made it a quiet place. The compound is very big and every tree in the compound has a table and chair under it. The seating settings is in the sense thaty you will be some distance apart from other customers. Nobody can hear you or see you clearly from wherever spot you choose to seat. There is a wooden gong (Ogene) on top of every table, as you may see in the picture. The wooden gong is used to alert the servers/waiters to come and attend to your order, because of the distance where the servers are seated. Even if you shout the waiters can't hear you, so all you need to do is to hit the gong(ogene) and one of the waiters will be at your service. I love the "under the tree" seating settings; it is so cool. Are you thinking about having a meeting or a get together in a very quiet place, you may consider this place. The road is accessible from the junction that leads to Doro garden. They offer foods like soft drinks, Beer, meats like beef and chicken with vegetables and Nkwobi prepared with goat meat and sometimes goat head. I loved and enjoyed my stay in this place, because i like very quiet and natural environment.
