This place is currently tucked away at the Nortgate Mall in San Rafael. I tasted both the dark chocolate and summer peach flavors, and opted for the peach flavor. The summer peach had the perfect blend of sweet and tart flavors, which is something that I gravitate towards. When I first took a bite, it just reminded me of summer, especially on this beautiful warm day in the Bay Area. I had the chance to talk to the owner, and he said that his ice creams were all organic too. If you are in the area and looking for a tasty gelato shop with seasonal flavors, come on down to this place.

This is truly the best gelato. Not only are the flavors unique and always changing, but all the ingredients are organic and locally sourced from farmers’ markets. You can taste the quality in this ice cream. And the owner is so friendly and kind!

I love ice cream—and these guys delivered a **perfect gelato high**. It’s a certain kind of speedball that cools your belly while delivering a very tasty insulin spike. It’s easily overdone but man, what a treat this truly outstanding dealer right here in TL. At times I’ve been willing to drive to Fairfax for a scoop, and… I gotta say: Daily Recess is better! I had chocolate sorbetto (really: the best chocolate delivery mechanism there is) with orange-vanilla creamsicle, perfect combination! They’re at the back of the mall in the food court — beware the mall closes many of its doors at 6pm, even tho these guys are open till 7. We had to get a janitor to let us in!
