It was my son's birthday. He wanted Italian food. The food was nothing special. I got a ribeye with grilled vegetables and a side of spaghetti instead of a potato. Actually, the spaghetti was not very good. The sauce had too much rosemary or oregano in it and it was very watery. The ribeye steak was very fatty and was overcooked. I ordered medium-rare and it was medium at best. The calamari appetizer was good but the white dipping sauce was too sweet, preferred the red horseradish-based sauce over the white one. My son ordered the mussels appetizer and he enjoyed that. The mussels were cooked in wine and herbs. He also got the seafood pasta with white sauce. He said it was "ok." Also, they put a blue bottle of sparkling water on every table. It was there before we sat down. During the meal, my son opened the bottle on our table. Afterward, we were told that there is an added fee for the sparkling water! The service was fine. Our waitress was attentive enough, I guess. But I will never go back again. The thing that irritated me the most was that they charged me over $7 extra because I charged the bill to my credit card. It was nearly $200. Who carries that much cash on them? Not me! Anyway, I thought that was effin ridiculous.

I just went for lunch. It was very good, we finished everything. Very good customer service and it wasn't too pricey. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

This was my first time at De Vega Brothers, and I greatly enjoyed it. The eggplant parmigiana was perfectly cooked. Elsa was very attentive and made our experience all the more pleasant.
