We celebrated a birthday here and took our own cake. I called early in the day to coordinate this cake, but no one called me back. So we showed up with the cake and they told us that we couldn’t eat it there. What? Our meal was really good and the service was good. But since they wouldn’t allow us to have the cake we took- (they kept it in their refrigerator until we finished dinner), the celebration was really diminished. This was a very expensive dinner- it’s not as though they would have lost money by allowing us to have our cake (we didn’t order dessert from them, knowing we were taking our cake to eat elsewhere). Next time we’ll go to Fleming’s- they’re just as good, if not better, and allow cakes to be brought from outside. Shame on Del Frisco’s for your dumb cake rule- you’ve lost us as customers. The food is what you think a steakhouse should be quality service. Good size, portion. Fair prices believe it or not. We ordered several appetizers desserts all main course. The best of everything drinks Hey big. Thank you to David the manager for making sure. Everything was smooth sailing for us. The butter cake and lemon cake is a must. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
