Arrived at this Denny's around 11 pm tonight. Just got out for a concert and I was so excited to eat. They were a tiny bit busy but nothing too crazy. We sat down and immediately I knew we weren't going to have a good experience. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to greet us and get our drink order. I ordered a milkshake and got it 30 minutes later. I should've walked out but I assumed it wouldn't be much longer for my meal... I was wrong. Like I said previously I arrived around 11, I didn't receive my meal until 12:45. There were 4 of us and we each got our food at different times. My friend's boyfriend got his 10 minutes before everyone else. Then it took probably another 5 between each of our meals. The servers were standing around on their phones and gossiping. We probably only talked to our server 3 times the entire time we were there. My friend ordered the brisket sandwich and it wasn't even edible. The brisket was so hard and burned. Our waitress was nice until she realized she probably wasn't going to be getting a tip. We could hear her say to her coworker "my table is so pissed he won't even eat his food". Yet she didn't come check on us. She never asked if we were okay. She brought us the check and we asked to have the brisket off and she was extremely rude about it. She huffed and snatched the receipt and went to talk to her manager. She handed her the receipt and said "here you deal with this". The manager never apologized for any of it. Not for the acts of her staff or for the wait. As I was walking out I warned several people of the service and they ended up leaving. They had already been waiting awhile for a table as well. Overall one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had, if not the worst. I came with a group of 4 people and arrived at 11 pm. We arrived and were told there was a short wait, and only waited for about 10 minutes before we were seated. Once we were seated, our server did not come to our table for around 15 minutes. We ordered our drinks (3 teas + 1 milkshake), and the teas came out within 10 minutes, but the milkshake was completely forgotten until we reminded our server about 20 minutes after we received the teas (around 11:45 at this point). We placed our order between when we received the teas and reminded our server of the milkshake, and received the first of our food (an appetizer) at around 12:10 (1.5 hours after our initial arrival). The first of the four meals (a brisket sandwich) came to the table at about 12:25. The brisket was insanely burnt and inedible. About 10 minutes later, we received two of our other meals, with the last one about 5 minutes after that. The rest of the food was underwhelming, but not nearly as bad as the brisket situation. We requested that the brisket sandwich be removed from the bill, and our waitress was extremely rude about the situation and did not seem to care at all. Definitely not worth the hour and a half wait before we received our food, and I will definitely not be returning to this location again. So tonight me and my mother came out to eat here at Denny’s and I our waitress was name Nicole she was excellent very attentive very patient with us and she made sure we was OK. She greeted us with a smile and she apologize for us having to wait. You don’t find good service like that anymore. She was excellent and for that we will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
