We are so glad you enjoy the atmosphere of der Rathskeller and the Terrace. We apologize for the waits that you have experienced. We continually work on staff training and making those waits as short as possible, while aiming for consistent quality both in our food and beverages and in our service. We have 1,800 incredible student team members and 400 full-time staff members, who make all that we do possible. " If you're looking for some quick options during your visits, our grab-n-go options at the Badger Market and Carte are great options and usually include house-made and locally made options. We are a mostly self-supporting nonprofit organization that does not receive taxpayer dollars or University revenue for our community events or for our student leadership opportunities as part of our regular budget. Some of our student leaders receive academic stipends for their work. Our patrons help make all that we do possible with their purchases.
