Came in late to grab cocktails. Bar was busy. Ordered Lemon Drop. Worst made cocktail ever. Glass handed to me had pink lipstick still on rim. Bartender remade drink. We finished and walked out. Absolutely nothing special about this place. Typical college hang out for rich suburban kids. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Been here a couple times while visiting family. Great bar and atmosphere on the weekends. Pretty busy which leads to the slow service. Natural trade off for a lively environment. Price per person: $30–40

It's a shame I can't leave a lower rating. I had an absolutely terrible experience here at Dick O' Dow's. The food was disgusting, none of the ingredients were fresh. My salad had canned corn and jalapeños on it, the avacado was old, and the dressing was watered down, no flavor. The french fries, chicken wings, and chicken tenders were frozen from a box and just thrown in a fryer. They didn't even taste like they bothered to let to food fry long enough. The slider my son had as gross, luckily he's 5 and doesn't know any better, however he still didn't want to eat it. When we addressed this the server, who was new, she was kind enough. But then the owner, Mitch I believe, came out and refused to make any accommodations for the disgusting food. He got loud and boisterous with us, spoke down to us, and was even so bold as to claim that they have never had any complaints the whole time he's owned the place. Needless to say I'll never take my family to this place again. YOU should stear clear as well. This business needs to fail as it's a blemish on the prestige that comes from owning a business in the beautiful city of Birmingham. Find somewhere else in the two minute walk it would take to go somewhere else. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
