What a fantastic, cost effective cafe! Having read a review elsewhere on this cafe I learned it not restricted to residence of Summerset alone so as a local I gave it a try this morning. I had a fantastic Eggs Benedict & Bacon for the amazing price of $18 so with a large coffee it cost me the grand total of $24 and it was great! Top marks. It was a busy spot though and even though it was a large area it was buzzing with a large resident crowd. Great food & Coffee Great friendly staff. Beautiful spot for a walk. Highly recommended. Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Okay this has probably been the most bizarre place of my trip! Cafe located without a ?retirement community. Could not recommend visiting if you’re hoping for a cute cafe by the beach.

A nice surprise to discover this cafe while visiting the nearby reserve. Great coffee and delicious cake. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Dogs welcome outside. Meal type: Other Price per person: NZ$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
