We went here on Father's Day so it was very busy. We were seated quickly. The atmosphere is inviting, friendly staff and very clean. Good came quickly after ordering, it was hot and very delicious. The salad bar had quite a few different salad options. It was kept stocked and items were fresh. The only thing about the salad bar is they give you a small bowl, hard to get items you want in it. A plate would be more accommodating. Meal type: Brunch

First visit to this newer Foley location of Doc’s Seafood. (Remember, Doc’s Seafood Shack, Canal Rd, Orange Beach can never be duplicated in food or atmosphere.). The food here was good, just not great even though it closely resembled “Doc’s.” The place is large to accommodate the summer crowds so its originality is lost. The service on our visit was a most definite 3 at best: quickly seated, but the server was not quick in taking our orders. My gumbo didn’t get to the table until after our entrees . . . It should come first. The gumbo was nothing special; too thin, no rice. Our server was either assigned too many tables or just not organized. No manager-type ever came around to check on things. Could have been a 4 with small improvements. I just hope this was not indicative of any changes at the “real Doc’s” which we do plant visit it again as we have for 2 decades. We really don’t plan to try this location again. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
