Um as soon as I walked in I was greeted by staff and the man helping me with my order at 10:32pm had the greatest of customer service that should be remembered and recognized. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am writing to share a frustrating experience I had on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and to request resolution on a couple of outstanding items. I placed an online order intended for delivery to a Seattle address as part of a meal train for a friend who recently lost her father. This was a meaningful gesture for a large grieving family, and I wanted it to go smoothly. The order totaled over $100. Unfortunately, five minutes before the scheduled 4:00 PM delivery, I received a call from the Northeast Tacoma Domino's location informing me they could not deliver to the address because the system had routed my Seattle order to their store rather than the correct one. I want to note that in my experience, the Domino's website typically prevents this kind of error by automatically routing orders to the correct store or blocking out-of-range addresses. That safeguard did not work in this case, and I was left scrambling with no time to spare. During that call, I asked the representative if they could help me identify which store should have received the order, since there are hundreds of Domino's locations and I had no way to know which one served that Seattle address. At that point, the general manager joined the call uninvited and took over. I want to be clear: I did not ask to escalate. She introduced herself and immediately made it clear she had no intention of helping. Every alternative solution I proposed was met with a flat refusal. When I asked if she could at least apply a credit to my account for the inconvenience, she agreed, and then ended the call abruptly without allowing me to confirm any details. I was ultimately able to locate the correct Seattle store on my own, call them directly, verify the address, and place a new order over the phone. The staff at that location were wonderful and went out of their way to help. The delivery arrived around 4:30, which was later than intended but manageable given the circumstances. I am genuinely grateful for how that team showed up. However, I am following up because two things remain unresolved: 1. I never received the account credit that was promised by the Northeast Tacoma manager. 2. The second order was placed over the phone, so I did not receive any rewards points for a purchase of more than $100. Because I called my order in, due to needing to be sure the location was correct. I am hoping Domino's can make this right by honoring the promised credit. I also want to offer this feedback in good faith: I work in business development and customer service consulting, and this experience stands out as a real coaching opportunity for the Northeast Tacoma location. A general manager who inserts herself into a customer call and responds to every reasonable alternative with inflexibility, then ends the call unilaterally, is someone who would benefit from additional support and training. I share this not to be punitive, but because I genuinely believe that gap is fixable, and that customers deserve better. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

So I just placed an order with Domino's Pizza the twin lakes store. I placed the order at 10:59, they close at midnight. Admittedly, the order was large. And so although they charged my card, they canceled my order. I instantly called their store. They told me that they had called my phone to verify the order, when we didn't answer they cancelled the order. Their reasoning behind this cancellation was that they had called my phone number to verify the AUTHENTICITY of the order that I was ALREADY CHARGED FOR and to verify that we actually wanted this food, in this amount, this time of night. One would think such things had been substantiated by the order itself, but apparently not. And so following the phone call to the store, I re-ordered. The second order was placed at 11:23. Again, the twin lakes store closes at midnight. We stood pensively by the phone waiting for their phone call to verify the order, (this time they actually did call) it immediately came in and, brace yourself, they told me they were canceling my order because it was too large of an order to make at 11:30 when they closed at midnight. I was shocked because the original order had been placed at 10:59, an hour prior to closing, plenty of time to complete our order. And yet the twin lakes crew couldn't handle it. They exhibited a lack of professionalism an inability to complete their jobs and poor customer service skills on the phone and online. My entire dinner party was ruined. Some of my overnight guests left. It was a horrible end to a great evening and it was all thanks to the twin lakes crew at Domino's Pizza. Seriously seriously seriously seriously disappointed with these guys. I had $100 bill ready to tip that driver, and they never showed and couldn't make it happen.
