Went only for the happy hour food, did not get any drinks. The food was pretty good, I got the diavolo with pork belly. Was surprised at how much flavor it had for Italian food, which is usually a little bland. The pork belly was cooked well, and a lot was added. The portion was also very sizable, reminds me of portions from the 2000s and 2010s before shrinkflation. Anyway, I recommend, I think the prices are not too bad even outside of happy hour, but really good during happy hour. Price per person: $10–20

Donnas is a small almost hidden gem in the cap area. We arrived at exactly 4:05 and there was already a line of people waiting. Parking could be an issue but since we got here at opening AND it was a Sunday we snagged a spot right in front. To start off the food is AMAZING. Happy hour sounded great but we also added protein to each plate that still felt like a deal! Music was great and it was such a surreal experience to see different groups in a space, vibing, drinking and eating. The salad was also really good but could use a little more dressing. Also when we went in today it felt like they had a huge fruit fly or gnat problem. I think everyone should check this place out!!! Worth it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I don't get the hype around this place. I came to Donna's at 4pm on a Monday and it was already crowded - loads of people standing at the front waiting for a space to sit down and a long line to order food and drinks. If you're lucky enough to get a table, the food is nothing special. The pasta was overcooked so I ended up picking out the pork and leaving the majority of my plate untouched. Because of the crowd, service was also quite slow. If you're looking for a well-priced happy hour, I recommend Cinque Terre instead - delicious food, great prices and a less chaotic atmosphere. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $20–30
