I hate to dog places, but... the inside wasn't very clean. We got there and the selection was extremely sparse (we got there late so this wasn't completely their fault). However, I am reasonably sure they just buy their donuts from SAMs or somewhere and resell them at the drive through... regardless, the donuts weren't fresh made in house. At any rate, not a place I would go back to (on purpose). Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10 Recommended dishes: Doughnut, Apple Fritter, Sandwich

Tried this place for the first time after moving to the area because the reviews were pretty good. Walking in, the place already felt very old, but what really bothered me was watching my food being prepared with only one glove. The employee touched multiple things and then continued making my sandwich without changing gloves, which was pretty gross. I also noticed the meat was left out, and the window was open for bugs to fly in. Unfortunately, this place clearly doesn’t practice proper sanitary measures, so I definitely will not be back. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I came from a pre-op appointment and suddenly it hit me, I need coffee and a doughnut! I rarely crave coffee and since a diabetes diagnosis, I've rarely had a doughnut. Despite living in Gainesville for almost 30 years, I'd never been here. With Dunkin Doughnuts and Krispy Kreme far more accessible due to their many locations, I can honestly say the Donut Connection Is worth going out of you way for! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
