Loved the food .The service was excellent .I'm now in love with iceberg lettuce again after eating their side dish .The line caught fish ,a crisp skinned barramundi was awesome ....Dessert .As the rest of the meal was delicious, we got two to share rather than our usual one to share . Oh, I nearly forgot ,if you like spice...the spicy margarita is the best I've had . Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really like the place, the food and drinks. The guys in the kitchen look very professional and friendly. Service is prompt and attentive.Music is low key and you can have a conversation. I hope they are doing fine financially as the place is not your typical Bondi 2020s place and probably does not appeal to the new age Bondi crowd in a sense. Could probably do more transforming the bar with a bit more lively decor, and step up the music a fraction. Shame to see the bar empty each time we're there, but the bar area does not look very inviting.Excellent location, with heaps of natural north facing light. Might need to do more to 'keep up with the times' as the place looks very early 2000s in terms of colour scheme and decor (everything is well maintained and clean though). Probably not what these guys have in their hearts, but might have to move in a new direction, at least partly, in order to ensure a solid bottom line, given the ever increasing competition. Missing a bit of oomph. Owners should head over 30m up the road to The Neighbourhood for some ideas on how to attract the locals and make sure Drake Eatery is also fully packed each night. I do not mean turn Drake Eatery into The Neighbourhood, but just to get some ideas on how to liven up the place a bit, especially the bar section.Will definitely be back again and again.
