Bring your kids!! There are so many nice childrens books and also some toys I think. Every so often there is a kids' storytime where they will read to kids. I think its every 3rd Saturday. Get some of the cake too I like the vanilla slice.

Period Hertitage home converted into tea rooms and art gallery. The rooms are filled with knic knacs and there are cosy rooms to choose to sit in. Ideal for children to play in and explore while you enjoy a warm cup of tea . Small menu with a few choices, but the desserts are freshly made. The high tea is a popular choice and bookings are essential to avoid disappointment. I was looking forward to the scones, but they were sold out. We recommend the apple crumble and vanilla slice. You can explore the many paintings and sculptures which you can The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking available on premises and there is a walking trail to explore the area. There is also a ramp for wheelchairs. If you enjoy and appreciate heritage houses, this is a pleasant place to enjoy your day, surrounded by the relaxing country side especially in autumn with the fabulous leaf colours.

We loved our visit to Dromkeen gallery & cafe. The coffee & cakes were really good and a wander around the gallery & gardens was delightful. Well worth a visit !!
