We came here expecting a high-end dining experience, especially given the way the restaurant is presented online and the expectations associated with it. Unfortunately, what we experienced was anything but that. We ordered bruschetta with anchovies as a starter. After waiting more than an hour, we received four completely different-sized pieces of bread, sloppily spread with cream cheese, with random amounts of anchovies placed on top. As if that wasn’t enough, the “decoration” was a dead, wilted piece of rocket on the plate. The anchovies were so heavily soaked in vinegar that the vinegar completely overpowered their actual flavor. They tasted more like vinegar than anchovies. Then there was the olive oil. It was an unnaturally bright yellow and tasted like sunflower oil rather than decent olive oil. For a restaurant presenting itself as a high-end dining destination, this was honestly shocking. For the main course, we ordered tagliata, medium. What arrived was not medium.. it was essentially raw inside (see photo). The presentation was also extremely careless: the meat was simply thrown onto the plate rather than properly sliced and arranged as you would expect from a tagliata in a restaurant of this supposed standard. We complained to the service about the undercooked meat, but unfortunately, we did not feel taken seriously at all. On top of that, tables that arrived after us were served before us, despite us already having waited over an hour just for the starter. Overall, this was the most disappointing restaurant experience I have had in Albania. The food, presentation, timing and, most importantly, the attitude of the service were nowhere near what we expected. It genuinely felt as though nobody cared about the quality of the food or the experience of the guests. Very disappointing and absolutely not what we expected from a place of this standard.

I had a wonderful stay at Duomo Resort. The hotel is beautiful, with an absolutely stunning view that makes the experience even more memorable. The staff provided exceptional service and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was kind, attentive, and always willing to help. I highly recommend Duomo Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with breathtaking scenery and outstanding hospitality. I would definitely love to come back!
