loved this restaurant with my bf, so sad they're closing. The best ramen in town.

Closing soon. Staff is good and absolutely as polite as you can ask for but the owner is letting it go downhill and chose not to renew the lease. Expect this establishment to have random hours based on the amount of business any given day. Won't be visiting again sadly.

So it was my girlfriend's birthday today and I was like lets go to lunch. Of course I let her pick and she said she wanted to eat sushi. She mention "East Japanese Restaurant" inside the Palisades mall. I was like sure dear lets go, I'm starving too. Once we got there it seemed like an ok place. We were happy kissing and hugging each other. Then it happened! We saw a roach on top of our table gliding over our napkins in the best mood ever. Like if we were not there the roach continued it's afternoon jog. Unfortunately for the roach, I had to stop it's joly afternoon before it made contact with my girlfriend's hand and her birthday would be ruined. We ask the waiter for the manager, but he said the manager wasn't available. I was like how is that possible and who is in charge. He said the manager is not available and no one is in charge. I was like look at our recently departed party guest on the table. The waiter looked at the dead roach and looked at me and said nothing. He said nothing and wasn't surprised like if this is not the first time smeone has complained about roaches inside the restaurant. Check came and he said the 4 beers are on us ($6 each), but no discount on ur $65 sushi plate. Food was ok and I'm being generous here. service was horrible. Waste of money and time. Will definitely for sure not go back here ever again. Will not recommend.
