A really enjoyable meal. Friendly service, The food was great, everything was tasty and all the meats were juicy with a great grilled taste. Ordered the grand platter to try everything. It was the perfect amount of food for 4 people. Was a bit disappointed that after paying £85 for the platter, sauces were offered which you’d assumed were included in this price but no. £2.50 added to the bill for two pots of sauce. Overall was it good? . yes but it was a very expensive evening. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Dietary restrictions: Had a nut allergy in the group that was catered for

Excellent service from start to finish. Tasty , well presented food. Generous portions. Good wine. Lovely relaxed atmosphere . Free dessert with candle for hubby's birthday. Which was a lovely bonus. Would happily recommend Esfane. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Decided to try Efsane for my birthday. Unfortunately massively disappointed on every level. Took a while to be noticed when we arrived as the three staff were chatting. The first starter I ordered they came back to say they didn’t have. Re-ordered Garlic mushrooms which were tiny bits of mushroom swimming in cream - no taste, totally bland and no garlic flavour at all. The garlic prawns were 3 tiny prawns and one was just shell with no prawn in! I ordered vegetarian moussaka and a side of chips. The chips didn’t come and the moussaka was totally bland again, no taste at all, sadly inedible, so I sent it back and it was taken off the bill. No one came to ask if everything was ok at any point during the meal, despite my not eating mine. I ordered a glass of wine and a bottle of sparking water - the wine came with water in it?! Sent it back and the water was given with no glass so I had to ask for one. My husband had the burger which he said was nice. Such a shame - my birthday meal wasn’t to be and definitely wouldn’t recommend or re-visit. Service was slow and lacklustre. Very expensive for poor food.
