Had a delicious breakfast here and had the place all to ourselves! Cute, retro atmosphere with a garden view in the back. We got the honey cinnamon set and sandwich set to share and it was so yummy. Star of the show were the eggs! The place is run by the most lovely elderly man so please be patient with the service! We waited around ~15 mins for the food to come. We stopped by at this old style cafe for a light meal. The meals we ordered were simple - toast, boiled egg, big slice of banana and a salad with sesame dressing and a fried egg sandwich. Vegetarian available. Tea is boiled old style in a pot. The cafe is operated by a polite elderly gentleman. Service is methodical and slow in a soothing way. Best to dine here if you are under no time pressure - the foods gets there when it gets there. Sit back and relax, grandpa is making you some toast. 5/5 - a charming way to escape the busy city. Our time at Coffee Eight was truly delightful. The atmosphere exudes charm and traditional Japanese ambiance. The owner is exceptionally hospitable, pouring care into each beverage and dish. The offerings were impressive in both quality and flavor. Overall, this cafe comes highly recommended for those seeking a serene experience with a welcoming host.
