The ice cream parlor is located on a busy street in Friesenheim, the ice cream is okay but at €1.70 per scoop it's really not cheap. What leaves something to be desired is the slow service when getting ice cream on site. One person serves the guests in or in front of the ice cream parlor, two people serve inside behind the ice cream counter. Unfortunately, it is extremely complicated to do. You order your ice cream, then it is placed in a stand and when you are ready, the stand is carried to the cash register and you have to pay there. Everything is done by the same person. We had a long line in front of us and had to wait 25 minutes to order. Ordering ice cream and then paying for it took another good 5 minutes, so it took us almost 30 minutes in total for three waffles with two scoops and a scoop of ice cream in a cup. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is good, but the speed and the inconvenient payment method could be improved.
