The absolute worst service I have ever received. I came here during lunch with just one other person. When we arrived there was only one other table so we didn’t think I’d be long. After 15 minutes someone finally came over so we asked for chips and salsa and were rudely told “they’re not free” and we still decided to get them. Another 10 minutes go by and they finally ask for our drinks. As the man walked away he said “we’re short staffed so I hope yall aren’t impatient or hungry because yall will be waiting a while” with a horrible tone. That’s when we said we were only stopping by during our 1 hour lunch break so we thought I’d be best for us to return another time. He said ok well you still need to pay for the chips ( we never assumed we were getting them for free) we paid and left quick and will never be back. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The food, atmosphere and service were only surpassed by the kindness & love. My wife passed a little over a year ago. Just reminiscing about the meal my son & I enjoyed at El Catrin gave me strength to visit & spend time with family & friend in Texas. Thank You! God Bless! Also, check out the gift shop next door. Great items at great prices! Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Me and my family went by this weekend this was our first time a little girl was our server. When asked about the food she had no clue of what to say. She did not even bother to ask if we needed or wanted anything else. There was another server who was up and down working her ass off and she took her time to ask us if we needed anything or how we were doing. When my husband went to pay he saw our server sitting down. That was very unprofessional.
