The service was just fine. Very friendly and attentive as needed. The food was less than great. Ordered the chilaquiles after talking with the waitress about popular menu items and had added two eggs on top. The tortillas used in the chilaquiles were the exact same as the table chips. Not a huge issue with others but these became soggy very quickly. The plate itself lacked flavor and additional items like onions, cilantro, etc. and ultimately relied on a heavy hand of pepper, sour cream and white cheese to satisfy the consumer. Personally I prefer chilaquiles that can survive the sauce for the majority of the meal and are offered with more flavor and toppings than this. It’s not a terrible plate but I would not order it again or recommend it. Maybe other food would be prepared better but I may never know. I love this local family owned restaurant. Huarache never misses. This time, I tried the Mario Enchiladas and they were the perfect blend of flavor and seafood freshness. Their salsas are great additions too. The cravings to this place hit hard. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with amazing breakfast options, this place is definitely worth visiting. The food was fresh, flavorful, and tasted homemade. The breakfast plates were generous and full of authentic flavors, especially the huevos rancheros with nopales. What really stood out was the excellent service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Everything came out quickly, and they made sure we had everything we needed. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding customer service — I’ll definitely be coming back for breakfast again! Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
