I've had Mexican or texmex from east to west Texas and from corpus to the panhandle, plus in several other states, this is hands down the worst ever. I've eaten at El rodeo 6, maybe seven times. They have only gotten my order right with a good experience once, and this was the third time I've ended up sick after eating there, that's a 50% chance of getting sick and a 90% chance of something being wrong with your order. Today we ordered fajitas for two but they put very hot peppers in it, habanero I think after I found them, but was to late, I can't eat anything that hot, I am basically allergic, and it was all in our fajitas, had to leave my wife and daughter there and rush home, only a 2 min drive, then vomited 4 times and running to bathroom all day. Also, the majority of times we went there was for breakfast and every time we got breakfast there the eggs are full of small pieces of egg shell. I recommend going to Alfredo's instead, great food, actually speak English, won't make you sick, and you'll want to go back for more. I'll never eat at El rodeo again, and may even seek a lawyer. Only one positive comment for today, they comped the fajitas, seeing as we didn't eat them and they were basically poisoned.

My wife and I love El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant in Lampasas, TX. Amazing staff, delicious food, (never disapponted with what I order/eat) and great atmosphere. I highly recommend if you love and enjoy eating mexican food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Queso, Jalisco Burrito, Salad, Steak, Thursday Special Beef and Chicken Fajitas with Onions and Peppers, Chimichanga Plate, Charro Beans, Huevos Rancheros Plt, Chilaquiles plt, Steak Fajitas, Mexican Bowl of Soup, Hawaiian Fajitas, Quesadilla, Avocado, Chicken Fajita Salad Plate
