The chicken fajitas are fantastic. The smell of those coming from the kitchen perks all the customers up. A huge mound of chicken, green pepper and onion comes with refried beans, fried rice and a salad with sour cream, guacamole and pico de Gallo, and three tortillas all for nine dollars.

I have been dining at El Rodeo for over 15 years now. I've lived in several different states and have never found a Mexican restaurant that I like as much for cheap yet tasty food and fast, consistent service. I usually wind up ordering a specialty burrito, or a combo meal because I can't narrow it down to just one dish that I like. Prices have gone up over the years , but you still get plenty of food for your money, and I usually wind up with leftovers. The jumbo Texas margaritas are delicious, but don't plan to drive after you have one! We usually go here with large groups and the service is always fast and great. The restaurant is festively decorated. It's usually quite loud and busy during peak times, so expect a lively time, and a bit of a wait to get a table if you come on weekend nights. Their patio is spacious and great for outdoor dining. They have a large back room perfect for large groups and kids. I live out of state and always have to visit El Rods whenever I am in town. Other reviewers may be expecting something different, but I know what I'm getting here and prefer nothing else!

This place has really grown on me and has impressed me more over the years. Service has improved and I love the food portions, chips, and margaritas. Well done El Rodeo.
