The Eldon

Good evening Harrison, thank you for addressing this issue with us. As mentioned in our previous responses to this incident - this behaviour does not in any way align with our pub ethos and policies. We do not operate any such policy that puts any member of the public at systemic disadvantage or at unease in any way. We are wholly understanding that an apology will not put this situation to ease, discrimination of any kind is never welcome here at Eldon, which all bar staff members always actively advocate and feel strongly about. As the manager here at Eldon I am equally extremely unhappy and displeased that this majorly unjust situation has occurred from our agency doorstaff, who again are a third party organisation. My full wish is to support yourself during this time and gain more information to appropriately deal with this matter as I equally feel very strongly about this issue, and would never want anyone to feel this way after their time at Eldon. This incident is not merely an inconvenience, but a serious matter that we wish to resolve and discipline/take action against those who aren’t following the law and our pub ethos. Eldon staff strive to go above and beyond for our customers, and we are regrettably sorry this wasn’t shown to yourself.
