I found myself in Raleigh so I looked up vegan restaurants in the area. I really wanted something different so I asked the waiter what he recommended. He suggested the chimichurri steakfrites. The "steak" is made by Redefine which I have never heard of but he spoke highly of it so I gave it a whirl. It was SO good! I am not a vegan because I hate meat. I am because of moral/ethical and health reasons. This tasted more like steak than anything I tried yet! The texture wasn't far off either. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan so easy to order and not worry they will get your order wrong!

Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff! I went in to place an order for takeout and the servers Nick & Cody were super helpful! I couldn’t decide which sauce to get for the wings but Nick had suggested the jalapeño bbq, and I’m glad I went with his suggestion it was so good! The wings had the perfect amount of sauce and the texture of the vegan chikn was unreal!! I Felt super safe ordering a salad since they get their produce from local farms. Overall, 10/10. Ohhh and try the turtle cheesecake it was so good I’ll be dreaming about the flavor for the next few years tbh. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stella, Nick, Cody, jalapeño BBQ wings, and turtle cheesecake is a perfect Element run. So glad the wings had the right amount of sauce and that the salad felt like a safe order. We'll make sure Nick and Cody see this. Come back for brunch and save room for that cheesecake again.

Great vegan/vegetarian option! I’ve eaten here several times for dinner and was not disappointed. Food options are reasonable and delicious. One of my seasonal favorites is the skrimps. They also have a decent wine & beer selection. Considering its location in downtown Raleigh, it’s a cool place to meet up with a few friends for drinks. It’s also in walking distance to a few hotels. The restaurant service is good. Both times I visited this restaurant our wait staff was pleasant and accommodating. Element Gastropub is easily one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Raleigh. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid street parking, Paid parking garage Kid-friendliness: Not recommended
