The Chicken parmigiana that I ordered was very soggy, the mashed potatoes were over buttered and tasteless, along with the rest of my dish. My partner ordered the Chicken Kara-age and rice which was quite bland, and the placement of the sauces etc was not the best. For entree we had the Hand cut Fries, which were hard to fault, and also the Parmesan risotto balls, which were lacking flavour also....
Overall, we were very disappointed with our meals, of which we didn’t finish. The whole restaurant is very outdated, with moss and dirt everywhere outside. The Bathroom was filthy, the sanitary bin was nearly overflowing! And general cleanliness of the whole restaurant was horrible. The waiter was not attentive at all, leaving the till unoccupied for long periods of time, and very rarely checked up with the few customers.
Elevation has so much potential, it could be an amazing place for any meal of the day, it just needs a good renovation, clean up, menu fixing and hopefully some management tweaks. We did love the view, as we did last time.
We are very hopefully the Elevation will make some changes, because we would love to return, however at its current state, we won’t be returning.
